MONTREAL, Sept. 10 (UPI) -- Madonna kicked off her long-anticipated Rebel Heart Tour Wednesday at the Bell center in Montreal with a wild show including pole-dancing nuns, outlandish costumes and an ode to Canada.

Fans went wild for the iconic pop star as she streamed through a 22-song set-list including oldies like "Material Girl," "True Blue," "Vogue" and her first No. 1 hit "Like a Virgin."

Madonna took to the stage via a descending cage after DJ Diplo opened for her with an hour-long set. The 57-year-old provocateur began the concert with a new song, "Iconic," featuring both Chance the Rapper and Mike Tyson.

The singer changed outfits several times reportedly based on a five-section strategy including Joan of Arc/Samurai, Rockabilly meets Tokyo, Latin/Gypsy and Party.

The Rebel Heart Tour is Modonna's tenth world tour in her four-decade long career.
