SACRAMENTO, Sept. 8 (UPI) -- After having to cancel shows due to illness, singer Ariana Grande announced on Twitter Monday that she is feeling better and ready to perform again.
Grande was forced to cancel her show in Sacramento on Sunday after falling ill, disappointing a number of fans. The 22-year-old then rescheduled for Thursday. With the green light from doctors, Grande will now be able to meet that date, along with being able to hit the stage Wednesday for her gig in Chula Vista.
While tweeting the good news to fans, Grande admitted that medical professionals were surprised that she was able to bounce back so quickly.
"My doctor looked at my vocal chords today after a week of coughing and months straight of singing and called me a 'bullet proof b***h,'" Grande wrote on Twitter.
