Zachary Levi joins the cast of Broadway's 'She Loves Me'

NEW YORK, Sept. 1 (UPI) -- Heroes Reborn and Chuck lead Zachary Levi is joining the cast of Broadway's upcoming musical comedy She Loves Me, the Roundabout Theatre Company announced Tuesday.

The ensemble also includes Laura Benanti, René Auberjonois, Gavin Creel, Michael McGrath and Jane Krakowski.

The production is being directed by Scott Ellis, and choreographed by Warren Carlyle, with musical direction by Paul Gemignani. It features a book by Joe Masteroff, lyrics by Sheldon Harnick and music by Jerry Bock.

She Loves Me will begin preview performances on Feb. 5 and will officially open on March 3. The limited engagement is to play through May 22 at Studio 54.

Levi had a successful Broadway debut with the musical First Date in 2013.
