LOS ANGELES, Aug. 27 (UPI) -- Pop-star Miley Cyrus appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live Wednesday starring in a special segment of I Witness News.
Cyrus went undercover for the role dressing up as an Australian news reporter complete with a wig and glasses as she asked pedestrians what they thought about her hosting Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards.
Some interviewees were honest in their dislike for the Wrecking Ball singer with one fan mentioning how he didn't like her style or her famous father.
"I just don't like her whole family," the interviewee said. "The whole fabric of America is falling apart and she's not doing anything to try to keep it together."
The segment also included a group of young girls imitating Miley's signature dance moves while another pedestrian admitted to knowing that it was Cyrus interviewing him the whole time. One interviewee even mentioned how he didn't have a problem with Cyrus, but that he did prefer Taylor Swift.
Cyrus showed up for her late-night appearance wearing a revealing outfit, including a pair of pink, heart shaped pasties over her breasts. When asked how what her father, Billy Ray Cyrus thinks when she dresses like this, Cyrus confided that "My dad doesn't know how to turn on the TV. He'd rather have me with my tits out and being a good person than rather have my shirt on and be a [expletive].
Recently, Cyrus opened up to Marie Claire magazine about being comfortable in her own skin and how she won't change her appearance to meet societal standards saying, "I'm probably never going to be the face of a traditional beauty company unless they want a weed-smoking, liberal-ass freak."
Miley Cyrus will next be seen hosting the MTV Video Music Awards Sunday.
