WESTFIELD, N.J., Aug. 25 (UPI) -- Nick Gordon reportedly visited late girlfriend Bobbi Kristina Brown's grave last week.

A family source told People magazine "some generous friends" flew the 25-year-old out to Westfield, N.J., to visit the site at Fairview Cemetery. Brown was buried next to her mother, Whitney Houston, following her death at age 22 on Aug. 3.

Brown's father, Bobby Brown, had banned Gordon from attending his daughter's funeral service and burial amid speculation over Gordon's possible role in the young star's death. Gordon and his mother instead paid their respects by visiting Daytona Beach, Fla.

Brown died nearly six months after she was discovered unresponsive in her bathtub at the home she shared with Gordon. The late star's conservator initially filed a domestic violence complaint against Gordon in June, and added a wrongful death complaint this month.

"I look at our pics sometimes it makes me smile sometime I cry @REALbkBrown #happymemories," Gordon tweeted following his girlfriend's death. "I'm so happy/blessed that I had @REALbkBrown in my life. i will always & forever love you."
