Jenna Bush Hager, husband Henry, welcome second child, Poppy

WASHINGTON, Aug. 14 (UPI) -- Jenna Bush Hager gave birth to her second child with husband Henry Hager Thursday. They named their child Poppy after her grandfather, George H.W. Bush.

Poppy Louise Hager weighed 7 pounds, 9 ounces and measured at about 21 inches when she was born, according to the Today Show. The baby's middle name was reportedly chosen in honor of both parents' grandmothers' middle names, Louise and Lewis.

"Welcome to the WORLD Poppy Louise Hager -- named after my darling Gamps who went by Poppy during his childhood," the now-mother of two wrote on Instagram Friday. "We are in LOVE."

Poppy joins the Hagers' first child, Mila, now 2.
