NEW YORK, Aug. 12 (UPI) -- Sandra Lee is reportedly doing well after a two-hour surgery aimed to rid her body of infection after double mastectomy complications.

Lee's team updated her Facebook page Tuesday afternoon writing that partner, Gov. Andrew Cuomo, was at her side in the recovery room after the procedure.

"She was insistent that he please have some dinner, and that her nurses do the same - and that they get some ice cream for dessert," the post read. "Sandra was very thirsty, but the nurses told her she still had to wait to drink water, but maybe they could negotiate with an ice chip?"

Apparently, the Food Network personality was thirsty for something a bit stronger than water, joking that she'd "really love a nice glass of rosé."

Lee will spend the night at the hospital post-op Tuesday night; her team will update fans with her status via Facebook, they wrote.

The 49-year-old television star announced Monday that she needed to undergo surgery for her post-double mastectomy complications after needing to be rushed to the hospital last week.

"I did my very best to avoid [surgery]," she wrote on Facebook, "but infection is an incredible monster."

Lee revealed she has breast cancer on Good Morning America after being diagnosed in May. She received a double-mastectomy soon after.
