SAN FERNANDO VALLEY, Calif., Aug. 4 (UPI) -- Reality TV star Kim Richards was arrested for shoplifting outside at a local Target on Sunday, when security caught her trying to leave the store with over $600 worth of goods in her cart, NBC reports.

Richards spent the night at the Van Nuys Police Department and was released Monday on a $5,000 bail and a misdemeanor charge in her pocket.

According to E!, the police will pass the case on to the Los Angeles Attorney's Office, where "prosecutors will determine whether to press charges."

This isn't Richards' first run in with the law.

The former child actress was arrested in April and has pleaded not guilty on counts of resisting arrest, public intoxication and battery.
