LOS ANGELES, July 22 (UPI) -- Antonio Banderas and wife Melanie Griffith have signed papers to finalize their divorce.

The news comes over a year after the 57-year-old actress filed to end her 18-year marriage to Banderas. TMZ reports the couple are waiting on a judge's signature, which should be obtained in the next few days.

"There's not a lot of drama with the two of them," a source told People. "They're at the point where they can be civil to each other. They're doing this in a healthy way. I know that Antonio is looking forward to the next chapter in his life."

Banderas and Griffith met on the set of Two Much in 1995, and married in May 1996. The couple have one child together, 18-year-old Stella Banderas, and reunited for their daughter's high school graduation ceremony in June.

The actor was previously wed to Ana Leza, while Griffith was twice-married to Don Johnson and once to Steven Bauer. The actress is also mother to daughter Dakota Johnson and son Alexander Bauer, and Banderas is currently dating Nicole Kempel.
