WASHINGTON, July 15 (UPI) -- Funny or Die just released a video starring Nick Offerman that takes a jab at healthy food, but reminds us that health is no laughing matter.
Offerman, best known for his role on Parks and Recreation, takes on a new role in the clip as Daniel Francis, food expert. The video, which features actor in overalls and a hat is surrounded by fields of pizza, sloppy joes and trees of taquitos has a more serious message behind it.
While Offerman jokes about french fries being salads, Time reports the video is a challenge for Congress to reinstate healthy lunches when the bill requiring nutritious meals promoted by Michelle Obama expires in September.
Entertainment Weekly reports the video, which is sponsored by The American Heart Association, is more about focusing on kids health than the laughs it provides.
