LOS ANGELES, July 9 (UPI) -- Liam Hemsworth and Maika Monroe are reportedly dating. The 25-year-old Australian actor and 22-year-old American actress are being linked after allegedly kissing at a Fourth of July party. The Independence Day: Resurgence co-stars attended a fête thrown by the film's director, Roland Emmerich, over the weekend.

"His hand was on her butt as she was grinding into him and they were making out at the bar," an onlooker told Us Weekly. "Liam was draped all over her. It was so PDA and in-your-face!" The pair were subsequently spotted grabbing coffee this week in Malibu.
Monroe shared a photo of herself with Hemsworth and Independence Day: Resurgence co-star Jeff Goldblum in June, writing, "resurgence sandwich." The actress will portray President Whitmore's (Bill Pullman) daughter, while Goldblum will reprise David Levinson.
Hemsworth previously dated singer Miley Cyrus, who is rumored to currently be involved with British model Stella Maxwell. The actor is also scheduled for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 with Jennifer Lawrence, and By Way of Helena with Woody Harrelson.
