LONDON, July 8 (UPI) -- The duke and dutchess of Cambridge spent some quality time together without their children at the Wimbledon quarterfinal on Wednesday.

The new parents of two, who recently celebrated Princess Charlotte's christening Sunday, headed to Wimbledon's Centre Court to watch Andy Murray play against Canada's Vasek Pospisil.

People reports the Royal couple bared the bad weather from the royal box and chatted with Sophie, countess of Wessex, ex-Wimbledon champion Billie Jean King and Prince Albert of Monaco during the 15 minute break, due to the rain.

Kate Middleton wore a red L.K. Bennett frock while the duke looked dapper donning a navy suit. The couple looked to be enjoying their time at the grand slam event as it was one of their first outings together since their baby girl was born in May.

David Beckham, his youngest son Romeo and actor Josh Hartnett were also on hand at the match to watch Murray defeat Pospisil in his home country.
