LOS ANGELES, June 23 (UPI) -- They say the more you hang around someone the more you become like them.

Well, pop star Selena Gomez couldn't have made that notion any truer when she visited the set of iHeartRadio Monday. The singer was promoting her new single, "Good for You," during a segment with Paul Costabile, she responded to fan tweets and challenges.

One challenge dared Gomez to do an impression of her good friend and fellow pop artist Taylor Swift.

iHeartRadio tweeted the reenactment asking the stars fans to judge.

"Who does a better Taylor Swift? @selenagomez or @taylorswift13," the post read.

Along with her Swift impersonation, Gomez also mimicked Shakira, saying "she sounds like Cher."

Gomez even accepted the challenge of rapping a few lines taken from artist A$AP Rocky's bit in her new single. She also rapped a portion of another song, where she fumbled to avoid cursing saying, "I can't say cuss words."

The star ended the show with a final dare to shoot gum in the air and catch it in her mouth, which she accomplished twice.

"I can do higher," she said after the first attempt.
