Lily Allen suffers 'minor burns' during a camping-trip gas explosion

LONDON, June 21 (UPI) -- British recording artist Lily Allen says she suffered minor burns during a gas explosion in her caravan while camping this weekend.

"I was in a gas explosion in my caravan today and I have minor burns and synged my eyelashes considerably," she posted on Instagram Saturday, along with a photo of her face with her eyes closed.

"It was absolutely terrifying and I wouldn't want anyone to go through anything similar. please be SO careful using gas stoves at anytime but especially during festival season when ones reaction times may be a little off. Feeling very grateful to be alive. Happy camping."

She did not offer any details regarding where she was or how the explosion occurred.
