Zooey Deschanel sells previous home above asking price

HOLLYWOOD HILLS, Calif., June 9 (UPI) -- Zooey Deschanel has sold her country style Hollywood Hills home for $2.33 million, 6 percent above her asking price.

Laid on a single story, the traditional 1933-built home went on the market for $2.195 million and was set to be sold in about 10 days, LA Times reports. It features three bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms and a separate guesthouse across an outdoor patio.

The house is surrounded by lush greenery on a half-acre lot and boasts formal living and dining rooms, a breakfast nook, a den, a remodeled kitchen, and two wood-burning fireplaces.

The pregnant New Girl actress moved to a new $4.569 million dollar estate in Manhattan Beach with six bedrooms and seven bathrooms -- a significant upgrade from her comparably modest Hills home.
