Emily Deschanel, David Hornsby welcome baby boy

The actress and "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" actor are already parents to son Henry.

LOS ANGELES, June 9 (UPI) -- Emily Deschanel and husband David Hornsby have welcomed their second child.

A rep for the 38-year-old actress confirmed Deschanel recently gave birth to a baby boy, telling Us Weekly, "The whole family and baby are doing well."

Deschanel and Hornsby, 39, married in Sept. 2010, and welcomed son Henry in Sept. 2011. The actress is the older sister of New Girl star Zooey Deschanel, who is expecting her first child with fiancé Jacob Pechenik.

"I have a wonderful situation where I get to see my baby throughout the day," Deschanel told Mom.Me following Henry's birth. "I know so many friends who have regular jobs and can't take their baby to work, so I feel incredibly, incredibly lucky."

Deschanel portrays Temperance "Bones" Brennan on Fox series Bones, which will air its season 10 finale Thu. at 8 p.m. ET. Hornsby is an actor and writer known for playing Matthew "Rickety Cricket" Mara on FX sitcom It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
