LOS ANGELES, June 1 (UPI) -- Allison Janney shared a steamy kiss with James Corden at the 2015 Critics' Choice Television Awards on Sunday.

"I didn't mean anything by that other than I just love this man so much," she explained after accepting the award onstage. "He's one of my favorite comics."

Mom was also nominated for Best Comedy Series, but lost to HBO sitcom Silicon Valley. The awards are presented by the Broadcast Television Journalists Association.

Mom is co-created by Chuck Lorre (Two and a Half Men), and premiered in 2013. The series follows Bonnie (Janney), her daughter Christy (Anna Faris) and Christy's son and daughter (Blake Garrett Rosenthal and Sadie Calvano), the latter of whom also had a child.
