NEW YORK, May 22 (UPI) -- Meghan Trainor kicked off the summer concert series at the Today Show Friday morning and even had a dance party with dancing man.
The "All About that Bass" singer, who recently won two Billboard Awards for hot 100 song and top digital hit, got on stage with Sean O'Brien, also known as Dancing Man.
When a photo making fun of O'Brien dancing went viral on the internet, it caught the attention of writer, Cassandra Fairbanks and she was on the hunt to find him. With the help of social media and crowd funding, O'Brien was found and flown out to the states so that Fairbanks could throw him the ultimate dance party.
After Trainor and O'Brien shimmied, the singer began her performance with her newest hit song, "Dear Future Husband." She continued with "All About That Bass," "Lips Are Movin" and "Like I'm Gonna Lose You."
During an interview with Today, she revealed how different her experience was this time around compared to when she came 10 months ago, before she became a household name.
"There was no fans outside and now there's a whole bunch of them, it's crazy" she said "I made sure to tweet about it, Instagram, because I was like what if no one shows up, it blows me away."
On Thursday night, the singer performed "Like I'm Gonna Lose You" with John Legend on the Tonight Show.
