Rebel Wilson snaps photos with rumored boyfriend, comedian Mickey Gooch, Jr.

NEW YORK, May 21 (UPI) -- Rebel Wilson's true age may be up for debate, but her relationship status might not be.

The Pitch Perfect 2 star shared photos of herself enjoying a hockey game with rumored boyfriend Mickey Gooch, Jr., a comedian and director whom she met through mutual friends.

An unnamed source tells US Weekly that the couple respect each other's work and get a long well. Wilson's busy schedule has apparently made it difficult for them to spend time together, but "they've been texting often and they've been spending some time together in LA and New York."

The comedic duo recently attended a New York Rangers hockey game at Madison Square Garden, from which Wilson posted photos of the two smiling, enjoying themselves on Twitter and Instagram.

"#RangerDanger Let's go NY!" she wrote under a black and white snapshot of the two with Gooch's arm around the Australian actress.

Wilson recently told Australia's Elle magazine that sacrificing relationships for her work is part of the territory, "and now I travel all around the world," she said.

"I'm constantly moving and constantly traveling and so it's really hard to maintain a relationship in that kind of environment." Has Wilson found a happy-medium with the upcoming actor/director?

These reports come in the wake of another, less romantic controversy Wilson faces. The Bridesmaids actress' age was recently questioned by Australian tabloid Women's Day, which claimed she is 35 -- not 29 like many of her Internet profiles say.

When other news outlets picked up the story, Wilson tweeted cheeky comebacks that reminded her followers of her loveable comedic prowess. Whatever her age, the successful actress is now on set in New York City filming the upcoming flick How to Be Single.
