LOS ANGELES, May 18 (UPI) -- Jared Padalecki is taking time off due to exhaustion.
The 32-year-old Supernatural actor revealed as much through his manager after abruptly canceling his scheduled appearances at Jus In Bello Convention VI and All Hell Breaks Loose VI.
"Jared wanted everyone to know he loves meeting his fans around the world and was very upset at having to cancel his trips," manager Dan Spilo said in a statement. "Jared has pushed himself to his limits, and is suffering from exhaustion."
"His SPN family is so important to him, and he asks that they Always Keep Fighting," he continued. "At this time he needs to be home with his family. Please don't worry, he's doing better already and is excited about shooting Supernatural season 11 this July."
Padalecki alarmed fans Friday by tweeting, "I need all of the love I can get right now. Please please give me a few seconds of your time and write me." He followed up with, "Thank you, from the bottom of my heart and soul, for your love and support. It's going to good use," on Monday.
"He's a big guy with a big heart, and sometimes he just doesn't know when to stop giving himself," co-star Jensen Ackles told fans at JIBCon. "Sometimes you just need to get home and rest with your family. That's what he's doing."
Padalecki and Ackles portray brothers Sam and Dean Winchester on The CW drama Supernatural. The series is in its 10th season and airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET, and was renewed for an 11th season in January.
