STEWART ISLAND, New Zealand, May 12 (UPI) -- Prince Harry, who became an uncle for the second time earlier this month, says he's ready for a family of his own.

"There come times when you think now is the time to settle down, or now is not, whatever way it is, but I don't think you can force these things it will happen when it's going to happen," Harry said.

Harry, who spoke from Stewart Island, New Zealand, is touring the country before he officially leaves military service in June.

"Hopefully I'm doing all right by myself," Harry said of his duties. "It would be great to have someone else next to me to share the pressure. But, you know, time will come and whatever happens, happens."

Harry's last public relationship, with model and socialite Cressida Bonas, ended last year.
