Celebrities break the MET Gala rules, take selfies anyway

NEW YORK, May 5 (UPI) -- Rules don't apply to Hollywood royalty, even at Anna Wintour's request. Some of the A-list guests who attended the MET Gala, Monday night, couldn't refrain from taking pictures of themselves with their famous friends.

According to Page Six, Vogue's editor in cheif informed all guests prior to the big night that, "The use of phones for photography and social media will not be permitted inside the gala."

With everyone dressed in their high-fashion best, how could one not snap a photo?
