NEW YORK, May 2 (UPI) -- Chad L. Coleman, an actor who has starred on the iconic drama series The Wire and The Walking Dead, was filmed ranting at passengers on a New York City subway train Friday night.

"I wanna know where my humanitarians are!" the New York Post said he yelled as he walked up and down the car in front of stunned straphangers, some of whom filmed the episode with their cellphones. "Yes, I am Chad L. Coleman. I am on The Wire, The Walking Dead. I'm not trying to [expletive] with you. I'm telling you the truth."

The Post said Coleman's publicist didn't immediately respond to its request for a comment on the incident, but the actor told TMZ he was upset because he overheard people discussing why they recognized him and one man saying, "No, we don't know that [N-word.]"

Coleman, insisting he was sober, further explained he was angry because of the state of affairs in Baltimore, the city where The Wire took place.
