LAS VEGAS, April 29 (UPI) -- A video obtained by Indian Country Today Media Network portrays frustrated actors confronting producers of Adam Sandler's The Ridiculous Six before quitting the movie for cultural reasons.

During the five-minute April 22 discussion, a producer says to the group, "Here's the thing, if you are overly sensitive about it, then you should probably leave." The dialogue caused the native actors to become more visibly discontent.

Actors were reportedly upset by decisions made regarding the portrayal of Native Americans in the movie, particularly about naming one character "Beaver Breath." In the video, an actor says, "We don't need to sell out our people." To which a reporter responded, "I understand completely...but we're not going to change Beaver Breath."

Another crew member or producer tries to mend the situation, "We have a lot to lose, Adam Sandler is playing a person that loves you guys, he's the hero."

Vanilla Ice, who plays Mark Twain in the film and claims that he is part Choctaw Indian, told TMZ that, "This movie isn't '[Dances] with Wolves,' it's a comedy. They're not there to showcase anything about anybody, they're just making a funny movie."
