LOS ANGELES, April 29 (UPI) -- Demi Moore is happy to see daughter Rumer Willis doing well.

The 52-year-old actress opened up about her eldest child in an interview with Us Weekly. Willis recently revealed she was bullied because of her looks as a teenager, and Moore told the magazine it was hard to see Rumer and younger daughters Tallulah and Scout face criticism in the public eye.

"The tabloid bullying all three of my children have experienced, especially in their teens, has truly been painful," she shared. "No child should be subjected to that type of judgment or criticism, especially based on their looks. As a parent, all you can do is love them and keep loving them until they love themselves."

"It is thrilling [to see Rumer doing well and involved in such projects as Return to Sender]," she related. "I am so proud of her and excited for people to be seeing what I have seen since she was a little girl. She is incredibly talented, and I love seeing her light shine!"

Willis is currently partnered with Val Chmerkovskiy on season 20 of ABC series Dancing with the Stars, and has excelled in competition thus far. The 26-year-old actress is known for horror film Sorority Row and ABC Family series Pretty Little Liars, and also scheduled for The Escort with Lyndsy Fonesca.
