NEW YORK, April 23 (UPI) -- Before John Stamos sent the world into a frenzy and announced the Full House news on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen had no idea that the 13 episode spinoff, Fuller House, that will premiere on Netflix, was even in the works.

The famous twins who both played Michelle Tanner in the 90's sitcom, talked with Women's Wear Daily late Tuesday and Mary Kate said, "We just found out about it today. I guess we're going to talk to the creators and see what's happening."

Even with a recent encounter with their TV dad, Bob Saget, a reboot was never even discussed. "I ran into Bob [Saget] the other day and we didn't even talk about it," said Ashley.

Mary-Kate even wondered why Uncle Jesse hasn't reached out. "I'm shocked I haven't heard from John [Stamos]," she said.

"I'm going to call [Saget] and get his perspective," said Ashley.

As funny as it was to see Lori Loughlin and Andy Cohen, who played Michelle, reenact a scene from the show on Watch What Happens Live Wednesday night, the sitcom just wouldn't be the same without the Olsen twins. When asked if they would reprise their role and join confirmed original cast mates Candace Cameron-Bure, Jodie Sweetin, Andrea Barber and Stamos, they answered with an iconic, "You've got it, dude."
