NEW YORK, April 22 (UPI) -- The Time 100 Gala took place Tuesday night without incident--if you ignore a facedown Amy Schumer like Kim and Kanye did.

In an attempt at pranking the couple, the comedian fell at their feet on the red carpet as if to worship them, Time Magazine reports. They walked passed her unfazed, as pop-royalty does; Kim was the only to look back.

"I saw them and said to my publicist, 'Can I pretend to fall?' and she said, 'I can't stop you," Schumer told the magazine.

Among a slew of dignitaries and other Top 100 honorees attending the gala, the comic couldn't help herself.

Mr. West performed a 20-minute set at the gala, incorporating dozens of half-naked men covered in white chalk as "performance art" and a single from his upcoming album, So Help Me God. Country singer Tim McGraw also performed a set at the event.

The Top 100 Gala took place April 21 in New York City. Other A-list celebrities who made it to the event were Bradley Cooper, Lee Daniels and Emma Watson.
