LOS ANGELES, April 22 (UPI) -- "Captain Jack is back and we're not letting him go," producer Jerry Bruckheimer tweeted Tuesday alongside the first image from the fifth Pirates of the Caribbean film.

The snapshot reveals crowd favorite Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) being bound rather tightly to a ship's post by two buccaneers. The notorious captain seems caught looking quite afraid.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales centers around Sparrow's quest for Poseidon's trident, according to the film's IMDb page.

Bruckheimer pushed the film's release date from this summer to July 7, 2017 due to set backs like a screenwriting delay in 2013 and Johnny Depp's hand injury in March.
