Beyoncé and actress Bianca Lawson are now stepsisters

LOS ANGELES, April 14 (UPI) -- Beyoncé's mother, Tina Knowles wed Richard Lawson over the weekend and the singer gained a new stepsister, Bianca Lawson.

Queen Bee's newest member of the family may not be a global superstar, but her list of film and television credits is quite extensive.

The actress guest starred on classic TV shows like Sister, Sister, Saved by The Bell, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and even Dawson's Creek. The 36-year-old starlet has been portraying roles as a teenager for the past 20 years. Most recently, Lawson can be recognized for her role in Pretty Little Liars as 17-year-old Maya St. Germain.

When asked about still playing teenage roles, Lawson told After Ellen, "I feel really blessed that I get to play all these great characters even though they might be a lot younger or whatever their age. I feel happy about it. It's so funny people ask me that, if it's weird. But as I get older I feel like I'm regressing a bit, like Maya is a lot more mature than I am."

It's safe to see both ladies were blessed with some pretty good genes.
