Watch Channing Tatum twerk for J. Lo at the MTV Movie Awards

LOS ANGELES, April 13 (UPI) -- Channing Tatum showed off his dance moves at the 2015 MTV Movie Awards on Sunday.

The 34-year-old actor took to the stage with Magic Mike co-stars Joe Manganiello, Matt Bomer and Adam Rodriguez to present Jennifer Lopez with an award for Best Scared as [Expletive] Performance for The Boy Next Door.

Tatum starred as male stripper Michael "Magic Mike" Lane in Magic Mike, and he, Manganiello, Bomer and Rodriguez will soon return in sequel Magic Mike XXL. The actor demonstrated his twerking skills after Lopez requested "a little dance number."

Magic Mike XXL opens in theaters July 1, and will see Tatum's character compete at a stripping convention. Gregory Jacobs helmed the film, with original director Steven Soderbergh as editor and cinematographer.
