LOS ANGELES, April 13 (UPI) -- Pink is happy with her body the way it is.

The 35-year-old singer addressed her appearance Sunday on Twitter after critics slammed her looks on social media. Pink was inundated with negative messages about her weight gain following an appearance at a cancer benefit Saturday.

"I can see that some of you are concerned about me from your comments about my weight," she tweeted in response. "While I admit that that dress didn't photograph as well as it did in my kitchen, I will also admit that I felt very pretty. In fact, I feel beautiful."

"So, my good and concerned peoples, please don't worry about me," she instructed. "I am perfectly fine, perfectly happy, and my healthy, voluptuous and crazy strong body is having some much deserved time off. Thanks for your concern. Love, cheesecake."

Pink attended the event with husband Carey Hart, who shared a photo of himself with the singer on Instagram. She also posted a picture with Hart, quoting him as saying her body has "more to love," and a snapshot with daughter Willow.

"Willow said to me the other day whilst grabbing my belly-'mama-why r u so squishy?' And I said..'b/cuz I'm happy baby,'" she captioned the photo of herself with the toddler.

Pink and Hart married in January 2006, and welcomed Willow in June 2011. The singer released her sixth studio album, The Truth About Love, in September 2014, and last debuted rose ave. with Dallas Green as folk music duo You+Me in October 2014.
