Jessica Biel gives birth to her first child, names son Silas

NEW YORK, April 11 (UPI) -- A publicist for Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake says the A-list couple has welcomed its first child.

People magazine confirmed the birth Saturday and reported the stars named their son Silas Randall Timberlake.

Timberlake is "ecstatic" to be a father, and his wife and baby are doing well, the representative said.

No other details regarding the birth were immediately released.

The actress and the musician have been married since 2012.
