Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea come in for a kiss

MALIBU, Calif., April 10 (UPI) -- Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea were caught nearly kissing Thursday on the set of their new music video for "Pretty Girls." Madonna must be proud.

TMZ shared a photo of the duo sitting atop a classic red convertible donning denim, leopard print, and badly crimped hair. Their eyes are closed, lips puckered.

If the kiss comes to be, it of course would not be the first time Britney smooches a blonde on camera. On stage during a performance at the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards, she shared another infamous lip-lock with Madonna, which Spears' manager Larry Rudolph told Billboard in 2014 "exploded" the world.

But this time is different. This time, Britney takes Madonna's place, gaining attention through Iggy's blossoming celebrity. The Australian rapper, 24, made it big just last year with her studio debut, The New Classic, while Britney's debut happened 16 years ago.
