Alicia Silverstone is returning to the New York stage in 'Of Good Stock'

NEW YORK, April 6 (UPI) -- Kelly AuCoin, Greg Keller, Heather Lind, Nate Miller, Jennifer Mudge and Alicia Silverstone are to star in the New York premiere of Melissa Ross' new play Of Good Stock, the Manhattan Theatre Club announced Monday.

The show is being helmed by MTC Artistic Director Lynne Meadow. The limited engagement is to begin previews June 4 for a June 30 opening night at MTC at New York City Center -- Stage I.

"The three Stockton sisters are witty, brilliant, beautiful -- and a total mess, thanks to the legacy of their complicated novelist father," a synopsis said. "In Melissa Ross' new play, these women gather at their family home on Cape Cod for a summer weekend. Their reunion ignites passions, humor, and wildly unanticipated upheavals."
