Sami Miro says dating Zac Efron is 'definitely different'

LOS ANGELES, March 27 (UPI) -- Sami Miro says her relationship with boyfriend Zac Efron is a different experience.

The 27-year-old self-described "vintage curator" opened up about her beau in an interview with Elle magazine. Miro met Efron through mutual acquaintances while the actor was filming We Are Friends in 2014, and admitted her newfound fame required some adjustment.

"I've never spoken about us before, but, um, it's definitely different," she said of dating the movie star. "I think you have to take that [kind of attention] with a grain of salt, and put yourself in other people's positions."

"I think that's actually a really big part of it," she elaborated. "Putting yourself in their shoes, and trying to understand where they're coming from, and then it kind of makes sense. It kind of just comes with the territory, and I know there's no really changing that, so you have to just embrace it."

Miro and Efron have been linked since September 2014, and the actor was overheard referring to the stylist as his girlfriend in October. The couple shared a sweet kiss photo on Instagram in February, and were spotted on a hike with their dog earlier this month.
