MALIBU, Calif., March 16 (UPI) -- Scott Disick entered a Costa Rica rehab facility Monday.

The 31-year-old reality star checked into Rythmia Life Advancement Center after admitting to continued addiction issues. Disick has struggled with alcohol abuse for years, and was reportedly found stumbling around drunk in Atlantic City over the weekend.

"I realize my issues are bigger than me and I'm ready to truly remedy this struggle I continue to battle," he said in a statement. "While I have been unconvinced in the past of treatment and therapy methods, Rythmia's rehab approach puts my worries at ease."

The luxury center features a fitness center, five-star restaurant and full-service spa, and uses therapy and iboga treatment to help patients. The iboga plant is a small African tree, and its roots contain 12 medicinal alkaloids used to combat various addictions.

Disick and wife Kourtney Kardashian returned for a new season of E! reality series Keeping Up with the Kardashians on Sunday. The couple have been together since 2006, and have three children together, 5-year-old son Mason, 2-year-old daughter Penelope and 3-month-old son Reign.
