Rihanna to star in new ad campaign for Dior

The singer previously modeled for fellow French label Balmain.

PARIS, March 13 (UPI) -- Rihanna has landed an ad campaign with Dior.

The 27-year-old singer is confirmed as the new face of the French haute couture house, and will star in film and print ads for the brand.

Photographer Steven Klein shot the campaign this week in Versailles. The film version will serve as the fourth installment of Dior's Secret Garden video series, and the ads are scheduled to run this spring.

Rihanna previously modeled for fellow French label Balmain in 2014. The singer released her seventh studio album, Unapologetic, in November 2012, and has a new record, R8, in the works. She also contributed to the soundtrack of upcoming animated film Home.
