MIAMI BEACH, Fla., March 11 (UPI) -- Police surrounded Lil Wayne's Miami Beach home after an unidentified caller claimed to have shot four people at the residence Wednesday.

"At 12:40 in the afternoon we received a call on a non-emergency line," Miami P.D. representative Ernesto Rodriguez told reporters. "The individual advised us he had shot four people and requested police assistance. At this point we have not located any victims."

The 32-year-old rapper is unharmed and was not home at the time of the alleged incident, record label Young Money announced on Twitter. Young Money president Mack Maine confirmed, "Everybody good on our side...thanks for the concern."

Law enforcement acknowledged the call may have been an instance of "swatting," or a prank. Police previously responded to a call about a suspicious person lurking around the home in late February, but no suspect was taken into custody.
