MARINE CITY, Mich., March 6 (UPI) -- Tyler Baltierra has revealed he was sexually assaulted as a child.
The 23-year-old reality star disclosed he was nine years old when he was molested by his older sister's friend. Baltierra detailed the incident in new book Conquering Change, which he co-authored with fiancée Catelynn Lowell.
"It was sex act after sex act after sex act," he recalled in the memoir. "It went on all day. She had us do everything she could think of, one thing after another... I didn't know what the hell had happened."
Baltierra took to Twitter to thank fans for their support after the book's release this week, writing, "Honestly just talking openly about the molestation and hearing everyone's relatable feedback helps, means a lot to me."
Baltierra and Lowell came to fame on MTV reality series 16 and Pregnant, and currently star on Teen Mom. The couple gave their first child, daughter Carly, up for adoption in 2009, and season five will see the pair welcome new daughter Novalee Reign.
