Shailene Woodley goes topless for Glamour U.K.

LONDON, March 4 (UPI) -- Divergent star Shailene Woodley posed in nothing but bell-bottomed jeans and underwear in her spread for the April 2014 issue of Glamour U.K.

In her cover interview with the fashion glossy, the 23-year-old actress revealed that she's "totally comfortable with nudity."

"I'm not sure it empowers me as an actress or anything, but if I'm going to do a movie with sex scenes, then I'm going to be naked, because I don't know about you, but I don't have sex with bras and panties on."

On the subject of films that feature sex scenes, Woodley said she was very interested in the role of Anastasia Steele in the movie adaptation of author E.L. James' erotic novel, Fifty Shades of Grey. The part, however, ended up going to Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson's daughter, Dakota Johnson.

"I'd read the books and thought, 'If somebody really can pull this off and make a movie out of it, they will be the biggest genius,'" she said of the role.

Woodley will next reprise her role as Tris Prior in the Divergent sequel, Insurgent in theaters March 20.
