LOS ANGELES, Feb. 26 (UPI) -- Lindsay Lohan was ordered to complete 125 hours of community service after a Los Angeles judge determined that the alleged 240 hours of service she completed weren't valid.

"I agree with [the court's decision]," Santa Monica Chief Deputy City told People, "There were things she did that didn't qualify as community service."

Lohan's attorney, Shawn Holley, said the ruling comes as prosecutors "had a problem with some of the work shadowing."

"They didn't want to hear more about how that played out," she added.

The 28-year-old actress allegedly completed the 240 hours of court-ordered community service stemming from her probation in a 2012 arrest by January, but a judge questioned the validity of the certificate of completion se presented because the document stated Lohan got credit for having "meets and greets" with fans and for "being shadowed" during her time starring in a West End play.

Her attorney, Holley said the activities were "absolutely real community service" because they exposed "a very impoverished population, primarily children" to an experience they would not ordinarily be a part of.

On Wednesday Holley said Lohan "doesn't have a problem" with the added hours as she's continued to work with CSV Positive Futures even after allegedly completing her time.

"She's enjoying doing community service," Holley said. "Her passion is really working with kids ... and kids really respond to her."
