'Avengers: Age of Ultron' releases official poster

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 24 (UPI) -- Marvel's Avengers reunite in the new official poster for the franchise's forthcoming film Avengers: Age of Ultron.

The poster was revealed Tuesday by The Avergers's Facebook account and finds Iron Man (Robert downey Jr.), Thor (Chris Hemswortj), the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Capitan America (Chris Evans), The Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) and Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) ready for battle.

The new image follows the January release of a dramatic trailer for the action thriller that sees Ultron (James Spader) wreak havoc on a "vulnerable world."

Age of Ultron, the second film of the Avergers saga will be released in theaters on May 1.
