LOS ANGELES, Feb. 23 (UPI) -- Australian actress Margot Robbie made headlines at the 87th Academy Awards on Sunday after walking the event red carpet in a plunging black dress and a new short bob.
The 24-year-old actress, best known for her role alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in The Wolf of Wall Street, wore a floor-lengh, long-sleeve gown to the Oscars that featured ample cleave. The star accessorized with a tassel statement necklace by Van Cleef & Arpels.
"It's worth more than my life," she said on the red carpet. It was created for the duchess of Windsor or something in the '30s. I am very lucky to be wearing it."
As for Robbie's short, asymmetrical bob, the actress told People she did not cut her hair for the ceremony.
Robbie will next star opposite to Will Smith in the comedy drama Focus.
