Kanye West slams Amber Rose: 'I had to take 30 showers'

NEW YORK, Feb. 20 (UPI) -- Kanye West has slammed ex-girlfriend Amber Rose following her feud with Khloe Kardashian.

The 37-year-old rapper made unflattering remarks about the 31-year-old model in an interview with The Breakfast Club on Power 105.1. Rose and Kardashian sparred back and forth on Twitter earlier this week after the model disparaged the 30-year-old reality star's half-sister, Kylie Jenner.

Rose appeared in West's music video for "What Them Girls Like," and dated the rapper from 2008 to 2010. She attacked Kardashian's sister, Kim Kardashian, who is now married to West, during the spat, saying the star is "a whore" to support her family.

"She's just soakin' in the moment," West said of his ex-girlfriend. "If Kim had dated me when I first wanted to be with her, there wouldn't be an Amber Rose ... It's very hard for a woman to want to be with someone that's with Amber Rose ... I had to take 30 showers before I got with Kim."

West and Kim Kardashian have been together since 2012, and welcomed their first child, daughter North West, in June 2013. The couple married in Florence, Italy in May 2014, while Rose went on to wed and file for divorce from rapper Wiz Khalifa.
