BERKSHIRE, England, Feb. 19 (UPI) -- George and Amal Clooney are ramping up security at their Berkshire, England home.

The 53-year-old actor and 37-year-old lawyer are renovating the property, and reportedly plan to build a safe room in the mansion. The couple are said to be adding the feature in order to protect Amal Clooney and her sensitive work files.

"They are having a panic room installed," a source revealed in an Us Weekly exclusive. "It'll be fireproof, bombproof and attack-resistant. Amal has high-profile clients in controversial cases. She needs to be secure."

George and Amal Clooney married in Venice, Italy in September 2014. The pair celebrated their first Valentine's Day as husband and wife at Asenebo restaurant last week, and looked "happy and affectionate" as they left the sushi spot, according to People.

Clooney last appeared with Matt Damon in The Monuments Men, and is scheduled for Money Monster with Julia Roberts and Tomorrowland with Hugh Laurie. The Disney film released a trailer earlier this month that sees Clooney and Laurie look on in amazement at a different world.
