Benedict Cumberbatch marries Sophie Hunter

LONDON, Feb. 14 (UPI) -- Actor Benedict Cumberbatch married theater director Sophie Hunter at St. Peter and St. Paul's Church in Mottistone on England's Isle of Wight.

The service at the medieval church was followed by a reception at Mottistone Manor, People magazine reported.

The couple, who are expecting their first child, announced their engagement in November 2014.

Cumberbatch is a current Oscar nominee for Best Actor for his work in the film The Imitation Game.
