LOS ANGELES, Feb. 12 (UPI) -- Anna Faris and Chris Pratt were brought closer together by the premature birth of their son, Jack. The 38-year-old actress revealed as much in the March issue of Redbook. Faris went into labor at seven months pregnant in August 2012, and recalled the scary time for the magazine interview.

"I was in denial [at the time]," she admitted. "For hours I was like, 'I'm just having indigestion. Chris and I were so scared, but then Jack came out. Even though he was so tiny, he looked so good to us."
"It's one of those things that drives you apart or makes you closer," she mused. "I think that being a father is very meaningful and rewarding to Chris. He's a great dad. He's a little more serious than he was before. It forces your hand. You really have to become an adult."
Faris and Pratt met on the set of Take Me Home Tonight in 2007, and married in July 2009. Jack spent a month in NICU after his birth, and is now a happy and healthy two-year-old. The actress revealed actor Mickey Rourke once shushed her son on a plane Tuesday on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
"I came home and I told a writer of my show [Mom]," she told host Jimmy Kimmel. "I said, 'You know, Mickey Rourke shushed by baby,' and she said, 'The same thing happened to me in a restaurant!' Apparently Mickey Rourke has a thing, he likes to shush babies."'
Faris is known for portraying Cindy Campbell in the Scary Movie film series, Kelly in Lost in Translation and Shelley in The House Bunny. She also played Erica on the final season of NBC sitcom Friends, and currently stars as Christy Plunkett on CBS comedy Mom.
