Zach Braff apologizes for comments on Pharrell's Grammy outfit

Braff compared Pharrell's performance outfit to the one worn by his monkey character from "Oz the Great and Powerful."

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 10 (UPI) -- Zach Braff posted an apology on Twitter for comments he made about the outfit Pharrell Williams wore during his Grammy performance.

Braff, 39, was live-tweeting the award show when he compared the singer's Chanel bell boy costume, to the one he wears as a monkey in Oz the Great and Powerful.

"Grammys are time-delayed in LA (?!) but someone just sent me this: #IWoreItBetter," Braff captioned a photo on Twitter.

After the tweet sparked backlash form those who thought the comparison was racist, Braff deleted the post and apologized.
