LOS ANGELES, Feb. 3 (UPI) -- Linsey Godfrey is recovering after being hit by a car Monday in Los Angeles.
The 26-year-old actress was struck by a vehicle that careened onto the sidewalk after hitting another car, according to TMZ. Godfrey was taken to the hospital, where she underwent surgery Monday evening.
"Linsey is recuperating at the hospital," the actress' manager told E! News. "Her doctors expect a full recovery. She will need treatment on her ankles, but things are looking good at this point."
Godfrey is best known for portraying Caroline Spencer Forrester on CBS soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful. The series will rearrange filming on account of her injuries, and her co-stars took to Twitter to share their well wishes.
"Please keep @linseygodfrey and her family in your prayers :(," actor Adam Gregory wrote. "Hey everyone. @linseygodfrey is going to be okay," The Young and the Restless star Kelly Kruger added. "She is the strongest person I know & has all the Drs laughing w her usual hysterical self."
