LOS ANGELES, Feb. 2 (UPI) -- Chris Hemsworth has nothing but praise for wife Elsa Pataky.

The 31-year-old actor gushed over the 38-year-old actress during his acceptance speech at the 2015 G'Day USA gala Saturday. The event celebrates Australia and Australia-U.S. relations, and presented Hemsworth with the 2015 G'Day USA honoree award.

"The best thing I've got from coming to L.A. was meeting my wife -- who is actually from Spain and who was lured here by Hollywood -- and who I love very much," he declared. "And that is the greatest thing over the last few years. So, thank you, everyone, but especially my wife."

Hemsworth and Pataky married in December 2010, and have three children together, two-year-old daughter India and 10-month-old twin sons Tristan and Sasha. The actress shared a new photo of the twins on Instagram last week.

Hemsworth will return as Thor in Avengers: Age of Ultron on May 1, and Thor: Ragnarok in 2017. Pataky last appeared in The Wine of Summer with Marcia Gay Harden, and will reprise Elena Neves in Furious 7 on April 3.
